Description
A beautiful triangular Besednice moldavite from the Besednice sandpit. The sandpit is what the locals of Besednice used to call the field in the valley below the town where the Besednice hedgehogs came from. For many years, maybe even centuries, locals would take and find these precious and unique gems. As the value increased machinery took over and removed all of the moldavite they could find. The mining operation at Besednice closed down many years ago making these especially beautiful pieces more and more rare and harder to get. Besednice hedgehogs now come from the collections of the old miners.
This lovely Besednice Moldavite piece is the typical triangular shape, quite spiky on the top (although not a spiky as some I have seen) and with the unique design on the back that only seems to come with the Besednice moldavite.
